DONATION REQUESTS
PLEASE READ PRIOR TO SUBMITTING.
If you’re a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and are looking for ways to partner with us, fill out the contact information below. Please understand we are a very small brewery, with limited ability to donate the products we produce for free. Please don’t be upset if we are unable to support your event. We get +/- 10 requests per week, responding to them alone is a fair amount of work.
California law only allows us the donate beer for offsite events. No gift cards, apparel, raffle items, etc. Just beer for the event. In addition, the brewery is just not fiscally able to contribute $$$.
Donation requests are evaluated based on the following criteria, somewhat in this order:
Organizations that serve those in most need in our community (food banks, centers for those in crisis, etc.)
Organizations looking to purchase product at a reduced price vs just looking for donated product. A BOGO scenario will get more consideration vs straight donation.
Events that can benefit the brewery and organization financially at the same time. IE, events at the brewery promoted by the non-profit organization where participants spend $$ at the brewery and we can, in turn, donate the non-profit.
Organizations local to Folsom.
Events that we feel provide the best marketing opportunity for the brewery. This would include brewfests in the region where we don’t have distribution accounts, etc. BOGO is also a major consideration for brewfests.
Causes and organizations represented by individuals who frequent and support Red Bus. Club members and frequent customers are given consideration vs those we don’t have a business/consumer relationship with.
