This is a woman with the rarest of gifts- her own voice. Having hit #4 on the Blues Albums Billboard Charts with her 6th album release titled "The Well," and then #10 on the charts with her 5th album "Take it With You," Northern California Blues Americana Siren Katie Knipp is equipped with powerful vocals and plays a variety of instruments from boogie woogie piano to slide guitar, to honest harmonica laden stories in between. Her various performance formats from raw solo act to full band captures audiences hearts from her first notes. She has opened for Robert Cray, Jimmie Vaughan, Joan Osborne, The Hidalgos (David Hidalgo of Los Lobos), The Doobie Brothers, Tim Reynolds, Jon Cleary, Ruthie Foster, Joe Louis Walker, The James Hunter Six, William Duvall of Alice in Chains, among many others. She played the 2019 Mammoth Blues Festival as the only solo female act that included headliners Buddy Guy, Trombone Shorty, Charlie Musselwhite, and more. She has won two SAMMIES-2020 and 2019 (Sacramento Music Awards) for Best Blues Artist, and was nominated Artist of The Year by The Sacramento News and Review. She has been honored Female Artist of the Year 2020 by the Country Folk Americana Blues Music Realm. She has gained worldwide radio support, putting both "The Well " and "Take it With You" on the Roots Music Report in Top Contemporary Blues Albums spun for 2018-2021.

Her voice whisks you away to places of both comfortable familiarity and dreamlike longing. The soulful songstress creates a one-of-a-kind sound that blends a rootsy Americana with elements of folk, country rock, bluesy soul, and sultry jazz. Malone's songs evoke a sense of wanderlust, self-discovery, and her unfiltered approach to songwriting creates music that will take you back in time, while her heartfelt lyrics keep you rooted in the present. Guitarist/Vocalist Ken Sharp has been performing as both a solo artist, and with various bands throughout Northern California for years. We are excited to have him perform blues, classic rock, and folk at our place on Thursday, October 17th from 5:30-8:30pm!

Touring guitarist for Puerto Rican superstar Residente, Justin Purtill has played festivals throughout the US, Europe, Central/South America, as well as 2018's Austin City Limits. Hailing from Auburn and playing together for over 30 years, Tijuana Weekend covers a broad timeline of rock from the 60’s through today: Beach Boys to Black Keys, sprinkled with 70’s funk, 80’s pop and 90’s rock. Come hang out and groove along with them on Thursday, June 27th, 5:30-8:30pm. Good Dog will also be in the house serving up their dogs at the same time!

We are excited to bring back, The Thunder Notes, on Sunday, June 23rd from 2-4pm! Come out and support up-and-coming musicians: Nick, Gavin, Lucas, Micah and Georgia, and enjoy some pints and pint-sized musical talent at our place! To top it off, It’s Nacho Truck will be out serving their loaded nachos from 1:30-5:30pm!
